Located at the entrance of the Cité du cuir, the shop offers direct access to the work of artisans and artists from Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It highlights leather-related crafts as well as a wide range of applied arts: furniture, lighting, jewelry, fashion accessories, ceramics, glass and crystal, textiles, wood, paper, metal, and more.
The 100 m² shop, freely accessible and independent from the museum route, provides an exceptional showcase for craftspeople from Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Set in an elegant space enhanced by a light wooden framework designed by Hervé Beaudouin, this concept store offers a wide selection of products (over 500 items): leather goods and objects made from other materials, home décor, candles, stationery, books, souvenirs, fashion accessories, and creative leisure materials. It is an ideal stop to complement the museum visit and promote fine crafts.
Call for applications – Boutique 2026–2027
The Cité du cuir launches its call for applications to select new pieces to be exhibited and marketed in its shop for the period September 2026 to September 2027.
Leather, textile, wood or other exceptional know-how: all disciplines in the art professions are welcome. This selection is an opportunity to value your work with a wide audience and to join a space dedicated to contemporary creation.

Yearly renewed collections
To promote local craftsmanship, the Cité du cuir aims to renew the shop’s collections every year through calls for applications published on this page.
