Rules of procedure

Preamble

A cultural structure integrated with the Communauté de Communes Porte Océane du Limousin, whose SIRET is 200 059 400 00016 and its headquarters are 1 avenue Voltaire 87200 Saint-Junien, la Cité du Cuir, located 20 chemin Notre Dame au goth, 87200 Saint-Junien, is a structure of permanent valorisation around the know-how of leather (gantry, megisserie).

See article L410-1 to L410-4 of the Heritage Code.

Considering that there is a need to establish rules of procedure inherent in the Cité du Cuir to ensure public order and the good reception of users,

Article I - Purpose of the Regulation

The purpose of these Rules of Procedure is to ensure a pleasant and secure visit for all users, to guarantee the safety of agents, to preserve the objects and products exposed.

This Regulation shall apply to all public Cité du Cuir (individuals, groups, etc.), as well as any person who is not in the service but who is there for professional reasons. It also applies to associations, tour operators, schools or any other natural or legal person

Article II - Access to Cité du Cuir

Access Cité du Cuir and to all places attached to it implies full and unreserved acceptance of this Regulation.

The rates shall be fixed by deliberation of the Community Council and shall be available upon request at the reception of the Cité du Cuir or on the website https://www.citeducuir.fr

Public access to the museum route, educational and creative workshops, professional workshops and any other paid animation requires the use of an entrance ticket. This ticket allows access to pay and temporary exposure only during the opening hours available to the public.

Access to the shop of the Cité du Cuir is free and free during slots according to opening times.

Opening hours : The Cité du Cuir is open to the public according to the times available at the entrance and on the website.

CCPOL reserves the right to change these schedules for technical or force majeure reasons.

CCPOL reserves the right to close certain spaces or equipment for service reasons (technical problems, cleaning or other).

Ticket sales : The sale of tickets and access to the permanent exhibition is suspended 1 hour before the closure of the Cité du Cuir. Visitors are asked to start evacuating the rooms 20 minutes before the closure.

Tickets : Access to certain areas is conditional upon the purchase of an entrance ticket (see the General Conditions of Sale inherent in the sale of tickets).

Prohibited objects : Where appropriate, users must submit to the safety checks at entry. Dangerous objects or objects likely to harm the safety of other visitors or works are strictly prohibited.

Article III – User behaviour, respect for objects and works, materials and spaces attached to the Cité du Cuir

It is strictly forbidden to touch objects or works exposed, unless otherwise expressly stated, to lean on the windows, to cross the closing cords to the public.

Photographs without flash is allowed, unless otherwise stated, for non-commercial use only. Photographs taken for commercial or advertising use are subject to prior authorization and payment of fees. A written request must be made to the Cité du Cuir. The use of tripods, selfie poles or other professional equipment is subject to authorisation.

Respectful behaviour : Users must take a respectful attitude towards other users and staff of the Cité du cuir. Noise or inappropriate behaviour is prohibited. Access is prohibited for persons in a state of drunkenness or agitation.

If the visitor finds himself an actor or witness of dirt (toilet, vomit in the rooms...), he is invited to inform the agents of the Cité du cuir present in the rooms or notify the reception.

Consumption : It is forbidden to eat, drink inside the Cité du cuir, except in the relaxation area provided for this purpose. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is prohibited within the Cité du cuir, and to consume alcohol and all illicit substances.

Mobile phones : Phones must be switched to silent mode. Calls are prohibited in exposure areas.

A distributor The public is provided with drinks and a sweets distributor during opening hours.

These devices are managed by external companies and complaints should be addressed to the machine number and not to the host staff.

Several parking areas are set up at the disposal of visitors to the Cité du cuir. All users are required to observe the signs and rules of the road code and not to park outside the materialised places (cars or two wheels).

Article IV – Surveillance and safety

Videoprotection : The Cité du cuir is equipped with a videoprotectpion system, meeting the legal and regulatory requirements in force.

This system ensures the safety of users, prevents attacks on property, protects against fire or other incidents.

Minors, incapacitated adults and users with special conditions must be under the constant supervision of the parents or attendants throughout the establishment. Minors must be accompanied by an adult, who ensures effective and permanent supervision. In case of doubt as to the age of the child, the agents of the Cité du cuir may request a document justifying the identity and age of the child and the accompanying person's age.

Groups : Children or members of a group remain under the responsibility of the accompanying coach at any time. At no time, the agents of the Cité du cuir We are responsible. The number of mentors must be adapted to the size of the group and to the regulations in force.

Personal objects : The Cité du cuir declines any liability for loss or theft of personal objects. Closed lockers are available to individual users and groups at the entrance to the establishment. For lockers, it is strongly advised not to leave any value object. The Cité du cuir discharges any responsibility for the effects left in the lockers made available. The effects deposited in the lockers must be recovered on the same day of the visit, before the establishment is closed.

Instructions in case of accident or evacuation Cité du cuir :

In the event of an accident, the Cité du cuir must be notified immediately.

In the event of an evacuation by the fire safety system or by decision of the personnel of the Cité du cuirall public must comply with the instructions provided by the staff. This procedure may require evacuation of people without being able to pass through lockers to recover their personal belongings.

In the event of an accident or discomfort which the visitor may witness, officers must be alerted as soon as possible in order to put in place appropriate measures.

Article V – Specific access and operating rules

Access to the Documentation Centre : on appointment only. Documents are available on-site only unless agreed eCit writinge Leather.

Educational/creative workshops : The Cité du cuir offers creative and educational workshops for individual audiences and groups. Reservation is mandatory for groups and strongly recommended for individuals.

Professional workshops : Any request for access to the Workshops must be made to the team of the Cité du cuir.
Depending on the applicant's status, the Cité du cuir forward the information package to be completed, adapted to the situation (professional, student, partner under a convention etc.).

Persons with reduced mobility : The Cité du cuir makes every effort to ensure access to people with reduced mobility. Please contact the staff if you need assistance.

Animals : It is prohibited to introduce animals into the premises, whether or not kept on a leash or in the arms, with the exception of guide or assistance dogs.

Article VI - Use of specific equipment

Equipment made available during animations is put in place by the agents. Its use must be carried out according to the recommendations of the agents Cité du cuir.

It shall be prohibited to move it outside the areas provided for its use.

A service equipment loan to users such as: wheelchair, cane seats etc. is available. Users will have to comply with the user instructions recommended by the agents. After use, they will be responsible for returning the equipment to the host office.

Article VII – Penalties for non-compliance

Failure to comply with these rules of procedure or any behaviour disturbing the proper functioning of the Cité du cuir may result in temporary or permanent exclusion from the establishment. The same applies to direct or indirect inappropriate behaviour towards personnel, other users, materials, objects and works of the Cité du cuir.

The staff consists of public officials specifically protected by law (Criminal Code Article 433-5).

Everyone is responsible for the damage that he caused not only by his act, but also by his negligence or his recklessness. The responsibility of the Community of Communes shall be incurred only during the opening hours to the public and only vis-à-vis users in good standing with this Regulation and having paid their right of entry. The Community of Communes cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for accidents which may occur in the establishment due to the misuse of the equipment. The Community of Communes does not assume responsibility for the breakdowns of appliances for the distribution of beverages, confectionery and small swimming equipment, which are privately managed.

Article VIII – Amendments to the Regulation

The Cité du cuir reserves the right to amend these Regulations at any time. Visitors are invited to read about them prior to their visit.

Article IX – Protection of personal data

The information collected in connection with purchases is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The Cité du cuir undertakes to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal data collected as part of the use of its website, online ticketing, in-store shopping and group reservations. All data are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended.
