This diversity offers you a lively and constantly evolving journey, where each exhibition reveals new facets of this heritage.
Collection Cité du cuir
Our collections tell the story of unique craftsmanship through a wide variety of objects: fashion, sports, and technical gloves, as well as antique machines, manufacturing tools, leather goods, and many other items that bear witness to everyday life in the leather industry.
In total, several hundred objects are preserved. To preserve their condition and allow you to discover the full richness of our collections, the pieces on display change regularly. This allows us to offer visitors new experiences over time. We are also fortunate to be able to count on the generosity of donors. Recently, an enthusiast collector entrusted us with AN OBJECT from his personal collection. These precious donations help to keep the memory of our shared heritage alive and naturally find their place within the museum.

Alienor.orgMuseum Council, is a network of more than fifty museums in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It promotes their collections and events through virtual exhibitions, videos, 3D objects, and a blog that takes a look behind the scenes at the museums. Its website allows visitors to explore thousands of works online.
