General terms and conditions of sale of online tickets for individuals
Preamble
Cultural structure integrated with the Communauté de Communes Porte Océane du Limousin, whose SIRET is 200 059 400 00016 and the seat is 1 avenue Voltaire 87200 Saint-Junien. The Cité du Cuir, located 20 chemin Notre Dame au goth, 87200 Saint-Junien, is a structure of permanent valorisation around the know-how of leather (gantry, megisserie). The Cité du Cuir offers a permanent exhibition and services accessible by buying an entrance ticket. The Cité du Cuir has a freely available sales shop (sale on site only).
Article I - Purpose
The purpose of these General Conditions of Use (CGU) is to guide the use of the website https://www.citeducuir.fr and these General Conditions of Sale (GTC) are intended to frame the online sale of services offered by the Cité du Cuir for individuals. They are available upon request from an officer of the Cité du Cuir or on the website https://www.citeducuir.fr.
The free visit of the permanent exhibition to individual visitors, the guided tour of the permanent exhibition to individual visitors and creative workshops are described as services.
A ticket generated by the ticketing solution of the Cité du Cuir with a QR. It can be purchased online on the website, in a dematerialised version and corresponds to a service offered by the Cité du Cuir.
By using the website, the user fully accepts these CGUs.
By purchasing an online service on the website, the customer fully accepts these GTCs.
These CGUs and CGVs will evolve at any time. Their application will then come into effect as soon as they are validated and posted online.

The site is hosted by OVH SAS 2 rue Kellermann – 59100 Roubaix – France.
The website of the Cité du Cuir, as a multimedia work of the mind, enjoys special protection as governed by the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code and the applicable International Regulations. Any reproduction, representation, modification or dissemination is strictly prohibited.
The user undertakes not to use the site for purposes that are illegal or contrary to public order and not to disrupt the proper functioning of the site.
Article III – Tariffs
Rates for benefits are displayed at the entrance to the establishment and are also available on the website of the Cité du Cuir. All taxes included are shown in euro.
Some free of charge and discounts are not available online but only on-site. Refer to the information available on request from an officer of the Cité du Cuir or on the website https://www.citeducuir.fr on the tariff page.
Certain tariffs for open or guided tours of the permanent exhibition space are laid down in particular:
- The reduced rate applies to children over 6 years of age under 18, high school students, students, persons with disabilities, beneficiaries of social minimums, job seekers and anyone who has booked a creative activity simultaneously (on presentation of proof),
- The family package applies to a maximum group of 5 people with two adults. Over 5 people, the price will be increased by 3 € per additional child.
- The annual adult pass is a nominative pass that entitles unlimited access to permanent space for one year from the date of purchase.
- The annual discount pass is a nominative pass that entitles unlimited access to permanent space for one year from the date of purchase. It is reserved for persons who can justify a reduced rate under the same conditions as the reduced rate unit entrance.
- The duo pass is a nominative pass for the person who buys it. This person has the possibility for one year, from the date of purchase, to visit the permanent space accompanied by the person of his choice, which may be different at each visit.
- For all annual passes, the period of validity includes the usual annual closure period. In the event of an exceptional additional closure, the date of validity of the pass shall be extended by the closing period if the latter exceeds two weeks. The customer who has subscribed to this type of pass may, on presentation of a valid proof, benefit from the extension or cancellation (reimbursement) of the latter in case of serious illness, serious accident, death, or professional reason involving disability. The extension will consist of the duration of the incapacity and the reimbursement pro rata for the remaining period.
- The prices of guided tours for individuals correspond to the prices of free tours (full, reduced or free, depending on the customer's situation), plus:
- 2 € for 45 minute guided tours,
- 3 € for 60-minute guided tours,
- 4 € for 75 minute guided tours,
- 5 € for 90 minute guided tours
- 6 € for 120 minute guided tours
Article IV – Conditions for using the entry ticket
The customer who buys an entry ticket online must have the majority and be legally capable of contracting within the meaning of article 1145 et seq. of the Civil Code.
Any person making a purchase of a ticket to the online sales site shall guarantee that the Cité du Cuir the veracity of the information provided by him and commits himself personally to the order made, regardless of the number of services purchased.
The purchase of an online entry ticket is considered final and non-refundable when the sale is validated, unless the service is cancelled by the Cité du Cuir under the following conditions:
If the execution of the order is made impossible by an external event (force majeure, closure of the establishment for technical or sanitary reasons...), the Cité du Cuir informs the customer as soon as possible and proposes to modify the order by e-mail.
The customer then has the option either to request the refund by bank transfer to the account used when ordering, or to accept the modification proposed by the Cité du Cuir.
The dematerialized entry ticket is valid for only one day, on the date indicated on it. Any exit is considered final.
Access to permanent exposure and any services is conditional upon the presentation of an entry ticket or a QR code to the control system.
The customer must present himself with a valid entry ticket. The Cité du Cuir reserves the right to refuse access in case of non-compliance with the conditions mentioned on the entry ticket.
The Cité du Cuir reserves the right to request proof of the start of a service, for any online purchase, in particular to justify the purchase of a reduced-rate entry ticket. Failure to present proof of a reduced rate or presentation of invalid proof will result in payment of the difference applicable to the customer's situation.
Article V – Payment methods
Online purchases of benefits must be made by Bank Card (excluding American Express).
Once payment of the order is validated by the customer, the order is final.
In case of refusal of payment by the customer's banking institution, the order is automatically cancelled.
Article VI - Edition of e-tickets
Tickets purchased online via the Cité du cuir are automatically transmitted to the buyer's mailbox once the order has been confirmed and the transaction completed.
The Cité du cuir cannot be held liable in case of non-receipt of tickets if the address of the email provided is incorrect or if the spam filters block receipt.
Tickets purchased online may be presented on a smartphone or printed in hard copy.
The Cité du cuir cannot be held responsible in the event of a problem of printing tickets because it will be possible to scan a PDF document or a QR code on the mobile phone. The customer ensures that they have the right software configurations to be able to present their entry ticket.
The reproduction or resale of banknotes is strictly prohibited.
Article VII – Responsibilities
The Cité du cuir makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information available on the Site. However, the institution may not be held responsible for any errors, omissions or results resulting from the use of such information.
Article VIII – Protection of personal data
The information collected in connection with purchases is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The Cité du Cuir committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of personal data collected in connection with the use of its website, online ticketing, in-store shopping and group reservations. All data are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended.
Article IX – Litigation and consumer mediator
Any complaint will be addressed to the President of the CCPOL by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, or filed in person at the reception of the Cité du cuir. Users of the Site and potential customers will be able, in the event of a dispute, to contact the consumer mediator whose contact details are as follows: CNPM 04 77 49 45 89
